Conservatory of Musical Arts
Music Together is an internationally recognized early childhood music program for infants,
toddlers, preschoolers, kindergarteners, and the adults who love them. First offered to the public in 1987,
it pioneered the concept
of a research-based, developmentally appropriate early childhood music curriculum that strongly emphasizes and facilitates adult involvement. Music Together classes are based on the recognition that all children are musical.

Hello Everybody!

Did you know that all children are musical?

Have you ever wondered what you can do to nurture the musical growth of your child, regardless of your own musical ability?

Experience Music Together® and find out how important--and how fun--your role can be!

Our Music Together classes build on your child's natural enthusiasm for music and movement. We'll help you provide your child with the basic musical skills needed to enjoy school and social musical activities, and later to study an instrument, should he or she choose to do so.

•WHAT IS MUSIC TOGETHER?
* A fun family music program for parents and children ages birth through five.
* Parent Participation--regardless of the parent's own musical ability--is essential to creating the stimulating musical environment that all children need to develop their musical intelligence.
* Children participate at their own level and when they are ready. There is no performance pressure. Children are not required to sit still; rather, they are encouraged to respond spontaneously to the musical environment.

•PROGRAM INFORMATION
* Weekly 45-minute classes
* 10-week semesters
* Three semesters per year
* Mixed ages--the curriculum is designed to teach on many levels of complexity at once!

•ACTIVITIES
* Singing
* Rhythmic chants (like nursery rhymes said in rhythm)
* Creative movement (from finger-plays to large motor movement activities)
* Instrument play (the "free choice" play-along jam session is a lot of fun!)

•TUITION
Tuition is $170 for the 10 weeks, which includes the two professionally recorded CDs--one for home and one for the car--of songs we are doing in class, a corresponding songbook, and a Parent Guide. There is a one-time registration fee of $15 for new families only. Additional siblings attend at a reduced fee of $120, and siblings 9 months or under at the start of the session can attend for FREE!

•INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
In the event of bad weather, if the district where your class is being held (560 for Haddonfield and 668 for Medford) is closed then we will not have Music Together. In the event of a 2 hour delay, Music Together classes will still be held.
